I’m Maggie, the photographer behind Maggie G Photo and Wedding & Company. After more than 20 years behind a camera, I still get excited on the drive to a wedding.

We intentionally accept only a select number of weddings each year so every couple receives our full attention before, during, and long after the celebration ends.

Do you really cover photography and video together?+
Yes, and that is the whole point. We are a one stop shop. Photography, highlight film, behind the scenes content, and luxury photobooth all come from one coordinated team. One style, one vision, one invoice. No juggling vendors who have never met.
What areas do you serve?+
We are based in Des Moines and Kansas City and we photograph weddings throughout both regions. Planning a destination or out-of-area wedding? Mention it on your call and we will talk through the details.
How far in advance should we book?+
The sooner the better. We take a limited number of weddings each year to protect the quality of every couple's experience, and prime dates go quickly. If your date matters to you, reach out now so we can hold it.
How long until we get our photos and film?+
Fast turnaround is something we are known for. You will receive a preview gallery shortly after your day, with your full gallery and highlight film delivered well within the timeline we promise. We will give you exact dates up front so you are never left wondering.
Will there be more than one person shooting?+
Yes. Your day is covered by a full team, not one person running between rooms. Second shooters mean two perspectives at once, so the moments behind you are captured just as beautifully as the ones in front.
What if we feel awkward in front of the camera?+
Almost everyone says this, and almost everyone forgets the camera is there within minutes. We guide you the entire time. That is also exactly why we recommend an engagement session, so the wedding day already feels familiar and natural.
How much does it cost?+
Collections begin at $8,500 and are built custom around your day. Because no two weddings are the same, we put your collection together on our call so you only pay for what you actually want. Book a call and we will walk you through it.
